For fragrances, fashion and Marc Jacobs, the latest week proved to be very important. The title of Womenwear Designer of the Year during annual CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday was taken by Neville’s dad. On the next evening, the awards of ‘Women’s Prestige Fragrance of the year’ and ‘Packaging of the Year’ were won by Marc Jacobs’ Decadence during the 2016 Fragrance Foundation Awards. For those who haven’t used the Decadence, it is a superb perfume with unbelievable smell due to the presence of Italian plum, saffron and iris flower.
But this Tuesday is full of several other events other than Marc Jacobs and the abovementioned perfume. Alec Baldwin rightly said during the opening of the show that usually he visits a subway when he wants to smell 1,000 smells but it is not required now as he is present at the 2016 Fragrance Foundation Awards. At the Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, most superb scent products were available from bath and body lines to perfumes and home scents.
