The holidays bring all your baggage to the surface and they’re a way of highlighting drama with a big fat yellow drama. For a better mood, load up on these foods instead of those foods which enhance the stressful situation (cookies, candies & cakes).

Turkey. Serotonin is a happy hormone and Tryptophan is the ingredient present in the turkey that makes you sleepy as it is the precursor to serotonin.

Salmon. Omega-3 fatty acids improve your memory along with your mood and they’re present abundantly in Salmon.

Chard. Magnesium is found in abundant in this green leafy vegetable. We hand handle stress better with this mineral. Plus, it can also help us sleep better and ease PSM.

Egg yolks. Load up with vitamin B12 egg yolks in your morning omelet because even a mild deficiency of this vitamin can have a seriously negative impact your mood.

Brown Rice. Low levels of selenium are correlated with poor moods which are present in abundance in brown rice. It makes the staple a mood-boasting one.
