Exercise and sports have positive effects on the human health but it is known in a latest research by experts that exercising more than two and a half hour per week is injurious to health instead of being beneficial.

The experts of Copenhagen University in Denmark conducted a research on more than 5000 people for 12 years. Among these people, 1090 people were performing regular jogging while 3950 people were neither doing jogging nor took part in any physical sports. In the beginning of the research, all these people were healthy. The scientists saw their health for 12 years.

It was known during the research that death percentage of people who performed strenuous exercise was same with the people who remained inactive. In contrary to that, the death percentage of those people was less who were doing jogging for 2.5 hours in week or less.
