The studies proved the importance of sleep. Our bodies and brains will become more fit, focused and happy after a full eight hours sleep. It has also been proved that the effects on sleep on our skins are very similar to our bodies. After a night’s rest, we can wake up with a healthier glow on our faces.

How works through this process: our cells start overdriving when we lay asleep. The damage caused in the day (due to UV radiations & environmental pollutions etc) is reduced from this. The blood flow increases flow of oxygen and nutrients to the skin due to blood vessels dilation. It stimulates the removal of toxic cellular products from skin. Recent studies showed that while sleeping, our cells even faster regenerate.
Whether we take care of our skin or not but cells do their work. But you should take that an opportunity before going to bed to help skin cells with the stuff they need to increase healing. You can help them to fight free-radical damage and UV through antioxidants, their barrier functions can be improved by hydration and reduce congestion and zits by regulation of oil production.
