On 22nd May in Las Vegas, Adele achieved the award of ‘Top Female Artist’ after declared the best one in the Billboard Music Awards at the T-Mobile Arena. There is no surprise for most of us because it’s so far the best year for the singer.
The Billboard Music Awards were held at T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas on 22nd May during which Adele defeated all her opponents to achieve the award of ‘Top female Artist’. There is no doubt current year belongs to Adele as she has released such superb and outcompeting music that everyone is singing and dancing along with her songs.
It was a tough competition this year. Every famous female singer has performed well and it was quite difficult to judge Adele remained at top against other stars like Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Ariana Grande. In fact, all of them performed very well.
But the award had to be given to only one woman and the British singer really deserves that award. Along with ‘Top Female Artist’, Adele won total 5 awards including Top Selling Album for “Hello”, Top Artist, Top Bill board 200 Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album Winner for “25”.
We could not forget her new song “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” which she debuted through video. After hearing the track, it will be difficult for you not to listen the whole song.
During the same night, several other singers also performed very well including Fifth harmony, Britney Spears and Justin Bieber while the hit “Stitches” by Shawn Mendes was also remarkable.
This year, the Billboard charts were dominated by the female artists which show that there was lot of competition between them. We are hopeful that Beyonce will lead next year.
