On 14th January, ABC producer Anne Swaney was possibly sexually assaulted and then killed during her vacation in Belize. After her disappearance, the 39 year old was found half-naked in Mopan River. Details are given below.
A shocking news is that the Anne Swaney (39), a producer of ABC7 Chicago was brutally murdered on 14th January during her trip to Belize. After a morning yoga session, she disappeared and later found in the Mopan River hours later. So far, there is no suspect in the murder.
An entertaining trip proved disastrous for Anne as she was possibly sexually assaulted in Belize before being brutally killed. During horseback riding trip, the produced had to stay behind due to lack of horses and she chose to do yoga instead. Some locals found her luggage without any symptom of her then they reported it to the owner of the Resort in Belize.
On 15th January, Police dogs were able to find her body that was found floating with face down with almost completely naked. Police superintendent Arzu said that there is a suspicion that she is sexually assaulted before murder while she has few bruises around her neck which might be due to her effort to save herself. But there is no suspect so far.
