To promote her latest film ‘Thor: The Dark World’, Natalie Portman made a rare appearance on Wednesday night. By wearing a new haircut and Harry Winston jewels, the November cover star dazzled at the New York City screening hosted by the Cinema Society, as she made her way down the red carpet.
Of the blunt cut that appeared to be freshly chopped, Portman said that she tried it that day and one can probably smell the dye if come closer.
The young mom plays astrophysicist Jane Foster alongside Hemsworth as Thor, who is also preparing for her directorial debut with the film ‘A Tale of Love and Darkness’. On Thursday, the sequel opens nationwide and as the 2011 superhero movie about the Norse god of Thunder, it is expected to be as successful a hit.
Guests partied at the new Marlton Hotel and sipped on Qui Tequila cocktails following the screening, aptly named Loki and Thor.
