Britney Spears performed Till the World Ends — a song off her new album Femme Fatale — for a crowd of Jimmy Kimmel Live! fans, but the cameras mostly focused on the audience’s reception of the mini concert. There were almost no up-close shots of Spears and her backup dancers, but during the three or four times she was brought properly into view, it was revealed that she wasn’t moving any more than a Thighmaster prototype. There was just a lot of jumping around and arm extensions, but no concrete or original physical movements. There was even a time when she asked us to watch her stand in a stationary position and move her elbows. So say what you want about the Meat Dress — but even that is aware of its shelf life.
