Tomorrow, Rango hits theaters. And even though this film is animated, the character of Rango still looks pretty much exactly like the person voicing the role, a.k.a. Johnny Depp. Seriously, just check out the photo below.
We know, right? It is as if he took responsibility Depp as Hunter S. Thompson from Fear and loathing in Las Vegas and morphed it into a form nosebleed. But this is not just some bad luck. In an interview with us, director Gore Verbinski said that she and Depp had discussed how Depp Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean Verbinski-directed both reminded of a lizard.
“We had kind of always talked about how Jack [Sparrow] has a lot lizard-like qualities – his lizard eyes, how he runs his hands, and so on,” he said.
