Melania joined the showbiz from her early life and she participated in the modeling contest in Slovenia. She became the runner up in Slovenian Look of the Year modeling competition and after four years she shifted to Milan in 1992 and she became full time model. Then she joined the modeling agency to start work with it and about four years after that she moved to New York in 1996 and she took part in the modeling and fashion shows. Her pictures are appeared on the cover pages of the leading and popular fashion magazines like New York Magazine, Vanity Fair Italia, GQ, American Vogue Bulgaria, InStyle Weddings, Ocean Drive and Allure. Early childhood
Melania Knavs was born in Novo Mesto in Southeastern Slovenia on 26 April 1970 and this was the part of Yugoslavia. The name of her father is Viktor, who was car salesman and her mother was Amalija, who was the pattern maker. She set her mind to pursue modeling career since her childhood. She could not complete her education, as she was dropped from University of Ljubljana after one year of study and she was set off to her modeling ambitions.
