There are total 8 films that are battling for the Best Picture of the Year in Oscar award as these Oscar nominations were announced this morning. “The Revenant” has recently won three awards in Golden Globes including the ‘best dramatic film’ due to which there is no surprise that the film has got 12 nominations. With 10 nominations, “Mad Max: Fury Road” is also in the list while the nominations of the film include the categories of ‘best picture’, ‘best director’ and few technical categories. Another important film is “The Martian” which is included in 7 categories including the category of ‘best Actor’ for Matt Damon and ‘best Picture’. Jennifer Lawrence’s performance in film “joy” made her to participate for ‘best Actress’ which is her 4th nomination in 6 years.
