Gigi Hadid is famous for her supermodel looks while she occasionally appears in the magazines like ‘Vogue’ and ‘Harper’s Bazaar’. Due to this reason, it was difficult to believe us after viewing her on the cover of recent issue of ‘WSJ’. In this photo shoot, photographed by Vinoodh Matadin and Inez van Lamsweerde, the model was wearing a black Brandon Maxwell dress that was styled by George Cortina and shows the flexibility of Gigi.

Different people have different opinions about this cover. Few were praising the new fashion style of Gigi while others were not so impressed. ‘Oxymore’ liked the styling, background and light of photo while ‘madzedre’ was stunned with the lightening.

‘MON’ was also very happy with this cover shoot. He not only praised the style and beauty of Gigi but he was also amazed with the beautiful and powerful effect produced by Vinoodh and Inez. It was one of the best shoots of Gigi, according to ‘DutchHomme’.

However, there are several others who disapproved this style by Gigi. Aizanara said that it was quite similar to Meisel but Gigi was not the right choice for such kind of photo shoot and this can only suit powerful model like Coco Rocha. Nepenthes liked the photography but she also preferred Coco over Gigi for this cover photo.

KateTheGreatest said that I&V are really superb for such black and white portrait and she was expecting a beautiful cover but it was really disappointing for her to view this photo shoot. ‘dodencebt’ had the opinion that Gigi was really looking very confident in this photo shoot but an experienced model can do it better. It wasn’t a bad one but it was possible to improve the cover.
