For decades, the name conjured up images old-school Hollywood glamor. She starred in over 50 films in seven years, and won two Academy Awards for Best Actress. Her first Oscar for her role as Gloria Wandrous in “Butterfield 8 ” in 1960. Her second Oscar was for her brilliant portrait of a sharp-tongued Martha in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” in 1966.

She was really loved by millions of fans around the world, and she misses her family, friends, colleagues, and of course by us, her devoted fans.
