Producers are begging Jen, 42, to
take a cameo role in order to give the ratings boost needed to save the
programme.

‘John is thrilled at the
prospect of working alongside his daughter for the first time,’ a source reveals.
‘He didn’t approach her,
though.
‘The show’s executive
producers did because John didn’t want to put Jen under pressure.’
While it’s thought Jen is
keen to go through with the plans, her busy schedule could cause problems.
‘We’re hoping Jen will join
us in November, when all the networks are at their most competitive,’ the
source tells the Sunday Express.
