In her speech, she thanked her boyfriend Casper Smart, her kids, her family and her fans. She said that every concerned person and films guide her to complete her 10 albums. At the end, she gave a message in English and Spanish to her Latina fans. Several times, the audience panned over her sister Lynda Lopez and mother Guadalupe Lopez. She thanked her boyfriend Casper at the very end with tears in her eyes. She deserved to win this award and the speech was also heartfelt.
