Dust off your leather pants and tease your hair to within an inch of its life, because Poison front man Bret Michaels and Motley Crue have put their beef aside and announced they’ll be putting on a no-holds-barred show for Aussie fans!

It will be the first time in six years that the Crue will visit Down Under with the entire original line up including Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee. ‘Rock Of Love’ reality star Bret Michaels is joining the ride as a special guest along with Doc Neeson of The Angles.

And according to Nikki Sixx, fans down under are in for a real treat, with the show gearing up to be biggest in the band’s 30 year history! “The set is sick and we’ve worked with a pryo company in developing some new pyrotechnics,” he told MCM’s The Hub.

“We have a whole set designed that is mind-blowing. It’s one of the biggest sets we’ve ever had and Tommy’s bringing back a drum that’s gonna be interactive with the audience, basically it’s a rollercoaster.”
Nikki also revealed that Poison’s Bret Michaels wasn’t the band’s first choice of acts to take out on the road… “There was Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses and Poison. Then we started having the conversations with all the bands about who was available and how much each band would cost and Poison was the one that worked out. I talked to Bret and we were like ‘let’s do it’.”

“We’re coming out there to do what we always do, we’re gonna party. We’re starting with “Talk Dirty To Me”, “Look What The Cat Dragged In”, “Unskinny Bop”, “Nothin’ But A Good Time” and “Every Rose…”. We’re hitting people with an entire set of hit songs,”  he added.

Tickets on sale June 21 from Ticketek.
