Katie Holmes is going to direct a movie, ‘All We Had’ which she derived from the novel of Annie Weatherwax. The script of the mother-daughter drama was adapted by ‘The Fault In Our Stars’. Josh Boone is the director of the movie. The magazine, Variety shared the story that a poor mother walked with her daughter in the adventures going through the small town of America.

Katie Holmes said that she was working with Annie to look forward on this project and she was feeling excitement in bringing the characters on the screen. Katie will also perform the role of mother, Rita Carmichael but who will be her daughter, it is not known yet. There are some other artists, who were included like Hank and Dotty Hanson, the owners of the hardware store, Peter Pan, the transgender writer, Vick Ward the mortgage broker, Patti, the nosy neighbor. The mortgage broker came to the home of Rita and asked her to sign for the subprime loan, which can be necessary for the misfortune. On the criticism of the movie, ‘All We Had’, they said that Holmes couldn’t handle the role of the director. She performed in various movies and she has shown her talent & she got the popularity being the wife of Tom Cruise. Jane Rosenthal has also shared her statement, who is the producer of Tribeca Productions that she has the crystal clear vision for the book being the original mother daughter relationship. She has the great passion for the material and she tells the stories with comedy and drama, which can bring the characters to life.
