Michael Kors is married. The New York-based designer has revealed that he was set to marry his longtime partner, Lance Le Pere, following an amendment to the New York law that allows homosexual couples to marry.

The couple obtained a marriage license in New York City Hall on Wednesday, reports WWD, and soon after confirmed the happy news.

“Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to marry in our state home after many years together,” said Kors. “We have no plans for a major party, but we will marry in private.”
