In 2006, when she was only 21 and best known for her role in Lost in Translation, was the first time. And now again, seven years later, with a fully realized career to boot, and one marriage down.
In the interview, Johansson is totally alluring, funny and witty. The actress has something to say always, with a rapid-fire wit, but let’s call a spade a spade. There’s a reason that she was cast as the ultimate “dime” in Don Jon by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and due to same reason Woody Allen makes her, his go-to muse: She’s the definition of “sexy” in textbook.
But, after spending nearly a decade being told that she’s the standard of Hollywood va-va-voom, the newly engaged actress remaining firmly grounded. Scarlett Johansson is definitely a hustler, but she definitely is not creeping towards irrelevancy.
