Scarlett Johansson wins legal case

Against an author, Scarlett Johansson has won legal case. According to reports, the actress of “Captain America” claimed that in the novel ‘The First Thing We Look At’ by Gregoire Delacourt, a mysterious blonde character was her ‘exact double’ and the writer has invented many love affairs with other celebrities which is a ‘fraudulent use of her personal rights’, her legal team told a court in Paris, France.

However, it was argued by the writer that the character of Johansson was a tribute to her beauty in fact and it was the highest praise. She is a classic beauty of this time with a touching delicacy.

He said she’s a superb, traditional actress and he was hoping that due to the declaration of love in this book, she’d sent him flowers. But he’s chose another actress if he knows that she’ll reply like that.

But the lawyers of Scarlett told the court that the love affair presented in the novel never took place really and she’s presented as a ‘sex object’ in the novel.

The 29-year-old star is engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac and pregnant with her first child sought an injunction from the court to stop adaptation and translation of the novel but the request was rejected by the court.

Also she was awarded just 2,000 pounds by the judge though, she demanded 40,000 pounds in damages.
