The Daily Shuffle: Michael Lohan Arrested for Domestic Violence

- Michael Lohan was arrested last night in West Hollywood, after his girlfriend
accused him of domestic violence. He was booked for inflicting corporal injury, false imprisonment and preventing a report of victimization. A lieutenant told People magazine, “Mr. Lohan was arrested after we received a call around 9 PM regarding a domestic dispute. He was detained after he was spotted walking on the street near our station. He showed no signs of intoxication that I’m aware of and has been cooperative.” Does this family think they need to get arrested every time they’re out of toothpaste?
- Selena Gomez was on Ellen DeGeneres yesterday and seemed to understand how it was wrong to say that back in September that Justin Bieber, her boyfriend, was like a brother to her. Gomez made the comment when it was revealed he had started dating, and so yesterday, Elena Gomez researched more about their relationship and tried to Gomez to admit how strange it was that the guy you’re dating her brother recalls. She did, but not.
- After comedian Bruce Vilanch told NYMag that he thought James Franco did a bad job of hosting the Oscars and delivering the jokes he wrote for him, James Franco tweeted a picture of him and Vilanch with some Perez Hilton-style writing on top of it that had Vilanch saying, “James Franco fucked up the Oscars. Trust me, I know comedy. I mean, come on. I write for Bette Midler!”
