Louis Vuitton has started manufacturing in Paris in 1854. He established a company which developed so much that it became popular for manufacturing of comfort goods, particularly known for its designer luggage pattern. Vuitton made high quality travelling trunk in 1850 which many celebrities comprising of Ismail Pasha, Khedive of Egypt, Grand Duke Nocholas, coming czar of Russian Empire and King Alfonso XII of Spain ordered to provide travelling trunks. This Vuitton also won the bronze medal of international repute in 1867 in world’s fair and gold medal in 1889 both in Paris. Later on Vuitton created many changes. He also built flat stacked trunks covered with canvas which helped in protecting of luggage and the costly products of immediately got popularity among people which was copied after some time. In 1873, they responded and produced a new canvas bearing red strips on a beige background to differentiate them from the people copying them and after some years introduced beige monochrome. They were succeeded to save their brand but there were more counterfeit copies.

Louis died in 1892 and his son took control of his company and developed it to most extent under the designer label on the product “LV” monogram. LV materials became the first manufactured products bearing the name of his brand. George also used five tumbler lock, heavy and every lock has its own number with which the owner can unlock his whole products with only on key.

The superstar designer Marc Jacobs New York based got appointment in the company as Artistic Director in 1998. He exhibited a prêt-a-porter Vuitton line for his historic products. The dresses designed by him got so much fame that Louis Vuitton produced his whole stock of footwear and exhibited in 2004, a jewelry stock and stock for high fame watches.
Jacobs was behind the new hot handbag, the manga ‘eye’ bags designed by Takashi Murakami, a cult Japanese artist on which gold LV leather with clean colors and flower shape has been looking excellent. LVMH also signed Jennifer Lopez in 2003 being a decent, impressive and sexy woman, for its fall-winter advertising campaign.
