Donatella Versace was born in 1959 and became famous as a goddess of fashion. She established fashion houses keeping attention to the female dresses. She offered seven brands under the name of Versace. Her dresses look like flamboyant and party girl image and become familiar with Versace itself.

Gianni Versace was born in 1946. She and her sister Donatella grew up in Reggio Calabria in Southern Italy. Her elder brother shifted to Milan to make his fortune in fashion industry. Donatella carried on her studies for passing a degree in languages at the University of Florence. His brother was working for Callaghan and Genny and then he established his own solo brand in 1978. His most of the designs are consisting of family love for bright colors, body hugging shapes and large dose of glamour. He also invited his sister to work for him to give progress to his brand. Both carried on working for ‘80s and ‘90s in which Donatella focused on the sumptuous advertising images which becomes the identity of Versace. Then she started kids collection named Young Versace in 1993 in which she worked as head designer on the diffusion brand Versus.

Gianni Versace died tragically in 1996 then she became the3 chief designer of the brand and got exclusive legacy. She accepted the challenges and met them. Versace, with the fusing Gianni’s Italian glamour along with Donatella’s rock’n’role specialties stepped into the 21st century. Versace is still very popular among people because of Donatella and his popular friends including Jon Bon Jovi, Courtney Love and Elizabeth Hurley who are all Versace fans. An ad campaign was also arranged for Versace’s spring/summer 2005 in which Madonna posed as a sexy secretary.
Donatella also worked hard to expand the range of brand and established both cosmetic line and Palazzo Versace, the first six star Versace hotel which has been established on the Gold Coast of Australia in 2000.
