On the red carpet at the SAG Awards on Jan 18, some of our favorite stars stunned, but to pull off her look, unfortunately not every actress in attendance managed. To take fashion risks, a few leading ladies decided – but on our worst dressed list, they landed.
SAG Awards Worst Dressed 2014 — Worst Dresses On The Red Carpet
Sometimes the risk outweighs the reward, as much as I love seeing stars that chances on the red carpet – and for Modern Family star Julie Bowen, unfortunately that was the case.
Julie’s floor-length, strapless gown featured a black and white graphic print bottom and a pointy orange bodice. Here, there’s a lot going on but none of it works unfortunately.
At the big show, Juliette Lewis’ look was also a letdown. The blue satin floral dress of ‘The August: Osage County’ star had an interesting print definitely but it seemed doing nothing for her svelte frame and just hang on her body.
Sarah Paulson’s proofy white cupcake dress was a definite no for me, while Juliette’s dress was questionable. The skirt of the star of the ‘American Horror Story’ was all wrong for the red carpet and brought to mind an old-fashioned petticoat.
Although it’s sad to see these stars strike out but there’s always the next show as it’s only the beginning of awards season.
