Even those of us admit to putting some effort into our look, who fall on the low-maintenance side of the glamour scale. We don’t just throw any hair color on our tresses or any shoes with that mini. So, on a generic, run-of-the-mill eye shadow palette, why would we insist?
We challenged makeup artist Mari Shten to create three new looks for green, blue and brown eyes to help you find colors that will make your specific eye color pop. On you, we hate to get all art-school hip on you but to step up our shade game, we got a few lessons on color theory that we could use, along with finding out that matching is as modern as a flip phone.
Shten says it’s not about matching your eye color but it’s about magnifying it to create eyes that mesmerize.
