On Friday, Dec 14, at the 2012 Miss Universe National Costume Show, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Miss Brazil 2012 Gabriela Markus performs onstage. Among the total 89 Miss Universe contestants, eighty eight contestants participated while Miss Sweden only did not.

To determine who will become the 61^st Miss Universe, which on Wednesday night in Las Vegas, will take place, the National Costume Show is not a part of the judging.
