With the adage the grass is greener, we’re well acquainted, but we’re the first to admit our grass is pretty dark green, when it comes to the weather in L.A. Yet, once a year, when the temps are pushing triple digits, during the first days of September, with a few tiny pangs of jealousy, we find ourselves. We’re still sweating through our short-sleeve T’s, while the rest of the country is replenishing their heavy-boot and cozy-sweater collections.
