In an interview talking about his amazing journey from ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, Dev Patel, her boyfriend, he moved to London and her new film, “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” which hits cinemas 12th August in the UK.

About why he loves Chanel: “I’ll tell you why I like the Chanel: When I started, nobody wanted to wear my dress. Absolutely no one. All signs should say:” Who is it? “But Chanel believes in me from the outset. for the first red carpet I was in the 2008 Toronto film Festival, put me in the very current season collections. it is a great brand. ”
On ‘Slumdog Millionaire’: “Slumdog was phenomenal… I’ve not had an experience like it since.”
On how skypeing with boyfriend Dev Patel is a tease: “We use it a lot – and we hate it as well! It’s like a tease. I also feel it’s this pressure: ‘Oh my God, he’s seeing me after two weeks, I hope my hair is okay’. It’s just hideous. I think even the most beautiful person looks stupid on Skype.”
On helping Dev develop an authentic Mumbai accent: “Yes, with the accent, he was a bit nervous. But all I told him was, ‘Don’t do the whole “Goodness Gracious Me!” thing. That just makes it very comical and it’s not required for Slumdog Millionaire.”
