The Hollywood actor, Leonardo DiCaprio received the best actor award at the Oscars 2016, which was conducted on 28 February. The ceremony was conducted at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and the award was given to him on his performance in the movie, ‘The Revenant’. He has done good performances in many movies and he was deserved for this performance.

In the 88th Academy Awards being managed at Dolby Theatre on 28 February and Leonardo DiCaprio was announced the best actor for the Oscar for showing his performance in the movie, ‘The Revenant’ and he has to wait for his 5th nomination. In this category, various other nominees were announced and he was finally awarded with this award. Eddie Redmayne has shown the tremendous performance in the movie, ‘The Danish Girl, Michael Fassbender performed in ‘Steve Jobs’, Matt Damon in the movie, ‘The Martian’ and Bryan Cranston in the wonderful movie of ‘Trumbo’.

When he won the award, he thanked his brother ‘Tom Hardy’ and also paid tribute to his director, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, who thanked him for performing with him. He also told the audience that the climates change is real, which is the urgent threat and people had to face it. He may be the next James Bond or something else.

Eddie also performed well last year and he won the best actor Oscar for showing his performance in the movie, ‘The Theory of Everything’, which was directed by Stephen Hawking. Now the movie, ‘The Revenant’ was appeared, which was directed by the leading director Alejandro.
