Karl Lagerfeld is surely an outstanding fashion designer. With his some remarkable abilities by showing his prolific and driven by change, he is considered the most successful and outstanding fashion designer of the fashion industry. Lagerfeld strived hard for presenting pony tail, fan and sunglasses as ironic, his personal preference for bespoke white shirts by Hilditch & Key, Chrome heart jewelry and Dior Homme suits is presented in good manner. He also worked for both Chanel and Fendi from 1998 and Lagertfeld has designed his own brand named as Lagerfeld Gallery.

Lagerfeld was born in 1938 in Hamburg then he shifted to Paris at the age of 14 years. At the age of 17 years he appointed on his first job at Pierre Balmain and after three years he worked for Jean Patou. He decided to work as free lance designer and carried on his carrier and did not set up his own brand despite of his traditional art,

He worked at Chloe for designing dresses from 1963 to 83 and from 1992-97. He also worked for Fendi for designing dresses in 1965 which his continued for a long time then he took job of artistic director of Chanel in 1983. In 1984 Karl Lagerfeld established his own brand in 1984. Then he set up his own Lagerfeld Gallery which was an art and retail business. Along with ready-to-wear collection, Lagerfeld Gallery gives stage for his excellent passions which includes photography also. He also shoots his own ad campaign in addition with editorial for various magazines, books, fragrance, art and magazines.

Tommy Hilfiger bought Lagerfeld Gallery in December 2004. After this another successful link up with mass market retailer H&M in autumn 2004 when retailers clamoured for a  garment designed by an acknowledged maestro of fashion.
