Olivier Theyskens is a well reputed name in fashion industry. He appeared in the fashion world in 1998 and sparkled in the darkness and showed the way to others. He has exhibited nine fashion collections till date; the most exclusive was the splendid French house Rochas which also got attraction of high caliber fans consisting of Madonna, Nicole Kidman and Melissa Auf der Maur.

Theyskens was born in Brussels in 1977 and settled in the city’s Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Visuels de la Cambre in 1997 before his first ever collection under title of ‘Gloomy Trips’.

He lived at a brothel and collected stuffed head of animals then he made decisions to set up Gothic reputation and his first stock was also included with dresses having embroidery of human hair and various Victorian governess styles clothes (one of them was worn by Madonna in her video named ‘Frozen’).
The upcoming new seasons in which this Belgian designer added lighter and romantic tone and he also took creative break to rebuild his studio. After rumoring on his future, this designer has given up the seat of creative director at Givenchy). Now he got a job of artistic director at Rochas in March 2003 and displayed his stock for esteemed house. He adopted latest and new themes and signature style of Marcel Rochas, he emphasized on tailoring and evening gowns, then this collection also followed his own attention. With the addition of three collections, Theyskens consistently moving his house ahead.
He also worked with Maison Rochas cautiously and maintained the original couture spirit; he was succeeded in giving progress of girlish and exclusive look. Theyskens also joined Rochas Fragrance as artistic director in March 2004. His collection has also been exhibited in various international exhibitions consisting of Belgian Fashion Designers at the Fashion Institute of technology museum in New York.
