If your brows are still very thin despite using every type of powder, pencil, gel, outline and pigment then it is the time to permanently solve this issue by using microblading. This method is a sure way to change your brow completely. You should not be worried about this face tattoo procedure. Here in this post, you will know about all the important information related to this technique.

Eyebrow Microblading

Microblading is a form of tattooing

Piret Aava is a microblading expert who told that microblading is like tattooing in which a manual handheld tool is used to implant the pigment under your skin. In order to make similar to natural hair, she uses hair-like strokes with this tool. It is a type of tattoo as the pigment is implanted beneath the skin but it is less deep as compared to regular tattoo.

You need to prepare

Stop the use of retinol, wine or aspirin one week before start of treatment. Aspirin and alcohol are blood thinners that increases bleeding while retinol makes your skin thin which can also make it bleed more.

It doesn’t hurt (too much)

You will feel some pain which is similar to scratches. But it should not be a problem for most of the people. There are no implications like a surgery. But she uses numbing creams and other such material on brows of her patients in order to reduce the pain.

Microblading takes time

Aava says that she uses two hours for treating new clients while she doesn’t rush anyone.

Aftercare is essential

The freshly bladed brows should be protected from any moisture including water and sweat. In case you feel redness and itching on the wounds then Vaseline is the remedy. Initially, the brows will look quite dark but the color will fade 30 to 40% later. During the first appointment, aftercare material is provided. It is normal to have slight swelling and redness but you don’t have to hide them as they look great.

Results last up to three years

Normally, Aava’s clients return after every six months for touch ups after their initial treatment.

Microblading is an investment

$900 is the cost of initial treatment. Few persons provide services with lower price also but inexperienced technicians should never be visited as microblading is just like tattooing which demands care.
