Fake death tweets about Britney Spears0 Comments

New York, it is reported that the twitter account of Sony Music Entertainment was hacked on Monday. The fake statement was published about the death of pop music icon Britney Spears.

The unit of Sony Crops, Sony Music said in the short statement that its social media account was hacked and the situation was rectified. The company apologized for the fake announcement of the death of the pop icon Britney Spears and it created confusion among its fans.

The spokesperson of Sony refused to comment on this misunderstanding as their representative of Twitter returned the emails and asked for the comment over these updates. The 35 years old international superstar and Grammy Award winner was declared fine and well as her manager, Adam Leber confirmed she is quite fine.

After confirming the news, these fake tweets were removed and the group, OurMine took the responsibility and Billboard reported that the twitter account of folk music icon Bob Dylan was also fake. The spokesperson of Sony confirmed that Bob Dylan is the artist of Sony and the statement of the company was held true for what has been happened.

Sony Pictures Entertainment is the another unit of Sony and it was the victim of devastating cyber attack in November 2014 and the Federal Bureau of Investigation said that it was the work of North Korea. It is said that Sony Pictures was going to release the movie, ‘The Interview’ and it was about two journalists. CIA hired the services of these two journalists for the assassination of the North Korean Leader, Kim Jong Un.
