In her own reality TV show, Leah Remini is to star.

The actress of “Kings of Queens”, who last year quits Scientology, has been given half-an-hour 12 episodes for her untitled program by TLC, which began filming 5th of March.

TLC’s manager Nancy Daniels says that Leah is a hard-working, no-nonsense, relatable wife, mom, sister and daughter. For the network, her unfiltered family and sharp humor are a perfect match. The 43 year old star will be accompanied by Angelo, her husband whom she married 10 years ago and Sofia, their 9 year old daughter who keeps her parents in check.

The cameras will also capture Leah’s sister Nicole, her opinionated mother, Vicky Marshall and unconventional father George Remini, who all in a secret coded language, will talk.

From Sofia’s impatient British nanny and Leah’s housekeeper and personal assistant, there will also be cameo appearances.

Meanwhile, following years of abuse for questioning the actions of the Church leader David Miscavige, the brunette beauty hit the headlines after she dumped her religious organization last year.

However, rather than be known as a ‘bitter ex-Scientologist’, Leah is determined to ensure people see her for who she really is. She said the same thing last week that she doesn’t want to be known as a bitter, ex-Scientologist.
