A top executive at CBS is supposedly “ready, willing, and able to forgive and forget all of Charlie Sheen’s recent antics and continue broadcasting [Two and a Half Men], with Sheen back in the starring role.” Radar Online cites a source who says the executive is none other than CBS President and CEO, Les Moonves (who has been mentioned in many, if not all of Sheen’s webcasts and rants) has been talking to Warner Bros and Chuck Lorre about the possibility of finding a solution that results in Sheen returning to the show without causing trouble for anyone.
The source told reporters that “Moonves told Chuck Lorre that he should ‘let us handle Charlie,’” and that “Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He’s all for it. He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie’s done recently and just move on with the business at hand.” But there’s more: the informant continued, “The core issue is, as he put it, the volatile relationship between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. He believes that if CBS and Warner Bros. TV honchos can find a way to get Chuck and Charlie to speak again, cooler heads will prevail.”
Chuck Lorre doubt very much wants nothing to do with Charlie Sheen. I mean, how could all “Hey, Jew!” things and the phrase “may your children so tired of feeling hungry they have to eat their dead, lifeless body.” And even Charlie Sheen highlier certainly wants nothing to do with Warner Bros. or CBS, so in this scenario, Les Moonves seems even more pathetic than a person who finally received their tweets IPAD 2 in the mail. Although Moonves deserves credit for trying desperately to make things back the way it is truly a joke going around with a PowerPoint presentation recently and trying to convince everyone they need Sheen as an employee. It is understandable that CBS and Warner Bros. are interested in saving the show because of how profitable it is, but it is meaningless to be even contemplating Sheen bring something back to board and almost destroyed, especially after their lawyers spent so much time making sure that there was a clear cause for dismissal. And last Sheen is the point of needing the program so that even if an offer was made to him, there were probably unfounded. Is selling tours and pass drug tests and webcasts exploitation. His fan base is securely in place, and even Sheen is smart enough to realize that CBS wants him back just because of how terrible his followers has become since he was fired from the series. However, the receipt of an offer to join the cast was again something Sheen has said he wanted to – not because he needed money and had to return to work, but because they wanted their employers to recognize the way we were nothing without him . .. and includes the value of a helicopter attached to the noise.
