Kenzo is well reputed for his fashion products and famous as “most Parisian of Japanese”. He is the first designer to fuse Oriental with Occidental fashion. He continued for the creation of the fashion brand full of sunshine, freshness, unexpected mixtures, vigor and colors for 38 years. The number of products of Kenzo House increases every year comprising of household art pieces and furnishing fabrics. After obtaining brilliant success of Kenzo perfumes, the House exhibited natural beauty products of Kenzoki. The trademark of Kenzi has been a part of the luxury-goods empire since 1993, LVMH and the Kenzo himself has now took responsibility for his own brand for Rosier which is female dress collection and Roy Kejberg which is male dress collection.

He was fifth in the family of seven children, Kenzo Takada was born in Japan in 1939 in the village of Hyogo. He used to read his sister’s fashion magazines which developed his interest in fashion world. He left Kobe University and joined Tokyo’s Bunka Fashion College. He won the award of “Soen: which was the most distinguished prize in Japanese Fashion trade.

In 1964, Takada transferred to Paris, a city renowned for fashion in the world to start from the very first step of fashion industry. Kenzo won the ELLE magazine competition and appointed as the chief designer of the Bon Magique brand. Japanese fashion designers became very successful in Paris fashion stage. He worked as freelance designer by making contacts with various fashion houses including Feraud. He also established his own fashion house Kenzo boutique ‘Jungle Jap’ in 1970. Japan first fashion collection was offered very successfully in 1970. The products showed in the exhibition were made up of Japanese cottons and remnants bought in the saint-Pierre fabric market at the foot of the Montmartre in Paris. The collection was burdened with first Takada’s work in traditional Japanese styles which shows brilliant designs very successfully got the attention of the whole world and made him exclusive trendsetter.

To search for world financially strong cultures, Kenzo made excellent and fun clothes, transforming ethnic into latest styles. The chief characteristics of Kenzo designs are color and flowers and charming shapes adopting tradition and culture. His work combined with male dressings having mixing up of western tailoring and eastern sarongs, while female collection is composed of Japanese cuts with different embroidery.

Kenzo House was the place of finding comfortable products in 1993. LVMH (Loius Vuitton Moet Hennessey) and he himself gave responsibility for this brand to Rosier which deals with female dressing and Roy Kejberg which do business with male collection. After working for fashion world as designer for thirty years he exited from his brand. Kenzo also exhibited the line of scarves under the brand Gokan Kobo at the age of sixty five years.

The colorful vision of Takada Kenzo shows simple cuts after getting combination of vibrant color scheme, ethnic influences, floral patterns and a pinch of fantasy which gives the surety of his place in the fashion world for good.
