Black eyeliner is a year-round staple, we can probably all agree. But when everyone turns up the sparkle, we’re now approaching that time of the year. But about going entirely glittery, I have a hard time. Just against my personality, it goes. But this holiday season, there’s one shimmer product that I can’t wait to rock: Jouer’s Liquid Shimmer Eyeliner, and in just about the raddest metallic colors ever, it comes.
To look festive without being cheesy, metallic shimmer is always a stylish way and to any outfit; it adds a nice touch of “rebel girl”. The idea of doing a cat-eye in surprising colors I also love and it is made easy by these little guys. The brush should be like a liquid-liner brush – super-flexible and skinny but thick enough to make a statement line. Plus you can really get a good grip on it, since the tube is so tiny.
And for colors, the hardest part is choosing just one between Panther, which looks like a shimmery gunmetal; Lynx, a golden olive; and Leopard, a bronze/brown. With just mascara the hues are gorgeous, but they look extra fantastic with a subtle shimmer shadow, if you’re feeling brave. Like nobody’s business, this stuff lasts all day. Your metallic cat-eye will be holding down the fort, long after your red lipstick has faded.
