Reportedly, Nicole Kidman was knocked to the ground by a bike-riding paparazzo named Carl Wu, yesterday. After attending Calvin Klein’s Fashion Week presentation, Kidman was returning to the Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Wu rode up dangerously close to the star of The paperboy and bewitched but was not able to brake in time to avoid hitting her, a witness told TMZ. Paramedics were called as a safety measure, despite the fact that Kidman allegedly sustained no injuries. Still, reportedly she’ll press charges against Wu. TMZ claims that Wu will not be arrested, but will be issued a ticket for riding his bike on the sidewalk. “An accident is an accident,” an officer said.

But just can’t catch a break, poor Carl Wu. Wu was involved in a scuffle with Lady Gaga’s bodyguards in 2010, who allegedly punched the photographer when he was trying to get a snap of the singer, in Wu’s telling. On a Tumblr entitled “f*ck you Carl Wu”, you can read a potentially biased account of skirmish.
