Zac Posen got respectable place just at the age of 25 years in fashion industry. His dresses made of leather designed for the Curvaceous were exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum which have been awarded the V&A prize and have been taken into custody for permanent collection. This respectable event was the hall mark of collection pertaining to the Young New York native.

He was born in 1980 in a painter house. Posen was got admitted  in the pre-college program at the Parsons Schools  of Design and then join Saint Ann’s School for the Arts in Brooklyn. His studies relating to fashion led him to Central Saint Martins in 1999 where he passed BA in womenswear. He very soon involved in his own studies and started his own brand which gives him great success.

His dresses having signature shown bias cut gowns, fishtail hemline and a passion for siren-screen style. His style was acknowledged in the fashion industry. He was also announced finalist for the ENKA International Fashion Design Award in 2002 and a nominee for the CFDA award for new talent in both 2002 and 2003 before getting the award of Perry Ellis Award in 2004.

The year of 2004 was proved very fruitful period for Posen. In the month of April, the fashion company, Sean Jones w2hich was supported by Sean ‘Puff Daddy’ Combs, declared that it was a long-term investment in Posen’s label. But Posen carried on steering the brand creatively, driving forward with his vision of a strong and girlish collection. He continued backing of Sean John financially the days when he was forced to fund his first catwalk show with 14,000 prizes from the fashion competition. Got financial freedom he was able to pay attention to expand his ready to wear collection and making progress his accessories line.
