Antonio Marras decided to go the sea for spring and returned to dry land along with top collection he has displayed for years. Perhaps it was the correction of color combination, or possibly it was the personal quality of theme, ours was not the matter why, ours was just to get pleasure of the passing parade, and the music given by a surf/mariachi quartet, every single of them playing in his own little boat floating on a sea of books.
Memories of the fishermen in Alghero in Sardinia is combined in the collection, Marras was grew up in there along with his fanboy feeling for Montgomery Clift such as the sailor Prew, adrift on a naval base in From Here to Eternity. The Alghero waterfront was covered with Kerchiefs, Breton stripes and berets, which evoked Honolulu in the 1040s by a boxy linen weave suit and bird of paradise prints, the world of From Here… A T-shirt graphic give the picture of Clift’s face surreally encaged in his private suffering.
