Don O’Neill who is the creative director of Theia has traditionally whisked his girl away into a romantic, fairy tale like in this bridal collection which finished along with stunning, intricate, relatively classic dresses. However for fall, he switched gears. “I am fed up playing it safe,” he mentioned before the beginning of his runway show. “I wanted to do something different and unexpected.” Mission accomplished. This collection is inspired by the foggy haze of a Twenties opium den, O’Neill transformed his Theia bride into one which is very naughty.
He did so along with the slip dress, providing the lingerie inspired style the bridal treatment in everything from a sleek bias cut number to an intricate glass embroidered dress. Breaking along with tradition, O’Neill as well displayed some poppy red numbers and some racy lace gowns which were fully transparent and left very little to the imagination.
