The French fashion designer, one of the most fabulous designers still designing his masterpieces, his class of fashion got close the elite to the mass markets. Jean Paul Gaultier has introduced his own brand of haute couture exhibited in Paris in 1997 and now he is busy in designing refined womenswear for Hermes along with his own well renowned brand. He is the most popular living Frenchman known for presenting his job on TV show Eurotrash in the early ‘90s. He was also very fond of stripped Breton shirts and other Gallic clichés.
Jean Paul Gaultier, born in 1952 his intentions was drawn to fashion from early age and he made sketches for showgirls from Folies Bergere to fascinate his colleagues. In ‘70s he got training from Peirre Cardin and Jean Patou for exhibiting his own ready to wear stock in 1976. He got popularity for his iconoclastic designs like male skirt, corsetry worn as outerwear and tattoo printing stockings. He also worked in Parisian fashion which is shown in his masterpieces such as trench coat and le smoking.
In 1998 he exhibited a new line under title Junior Gaultier and before this introduced perfumes in 1993. The dressings for various films he also designed. Bu8t the collection for Madonna’s Blonde Ambition tour in the year 1990 has given him fame worldwide especially for a certain salmon pink corset with conical bra cups. In 2004 Gualtier arranged a well reputed exhibited for his collections at the Fondation Cartier in Paris under the name of ‘Pain Couture’ that exhibited dresses designed and prepared from bread.
