Currently what interests him and Sylvia Venturini Fendi: experimental volumes, pure geometry and a little fun. The idea of voluptuous geometry was flagged by the invitation and set, both featuring designs motivated by the Swiss artist Sophie Taeuber-Arp. However when they oriented her circular work, much of what was on the runway was angular coats, gowns as well trousers made from pieced together panels.

This amazing collection was an incredible delightful fusion of faux-utilitarian pragmatism and ostentation. There was a little of the Alpine worker to the pinafores and chaps as leather additions included at the hips to skirt. Bibs and aprons in plated form were fastened by giant buttons. Proceeding with the add-a-flower motif began 2 seasons back along with orchid corsages, here, birds of paradise bulge out of amazing shade-blocked fur and shearling bags.

The fabric merging intrigued the simplicity of the 2 tone white coat which opened the event to graphically collaged coats and a witty felt gilet over corduroy trousers wrapped in tubes of shearling from the knee down.

The collection proceed with the furs in size so pumped up, it appeared as if the design duo might have been considering of the hot (however very cold) U.S. market while making the collection.
